Southend Masonic Centre has been hosting Freemasonry for nearly 50 years. Previously in Woodgrange Drive, the operation was recently been transferred to Saxon Hall, Aviation Way and the first Masonic meeting was held at the new premises on January 4 2006. The centre currently has over 2,300 members from 88 different Masonic organisations.

The new centre boasts 3 temples, 2 of which have a capacity for up to 150 people and the third has seating for up to 55. The extensive and versatile banqueting facilities offer various options for dining with up to 300 diners in the main dining area and a number of additional and alternative options to cater for most needs. There are two separate comfortable bar/lounge areas. The centre can now accommodate up to 6 Lodges of Instruction at a time.

The centre is regularly used for masonic meetings and festive boards. However, in addition we offer extensive banqueting, conference, meeting and exhibition capabilities to suit wide ranging requirements including: ladies nights, weddings, private parties, other social occasions and many commercial needs.
