Welcome to the webpage of the Thundersley Lodge No. 5225.
We are an old established lodge consecrated in 1930 and have a long association with St Peter's Church, Thundersley, whose image is celebrated in our official documentation and Lodge banner. For our Lodge history please click on the button.

Freemasonry means different things to each of those who join. For some, it's about making new friends and acquaintances. For others it’s about being able to help deserving causes. Some may be attracted by a strong sense of history and tradition but for most it is an enjoyable hobby providing camaraderie and support.
Our members come from all walks of life and vary in age. Currently we have approx. 30 members.
We meet at Saxon Hall in Southend for both our regular meetings and Lodge of Instruction evenings.
We are always pleased to welcome visitors, why not email our secretary, he will be happy to give you full details. We can assure you of a warm welcome and an enjoyable time if you wish to come to one of our Lodge meetings.
We have 5 regular Lodge meetings per year on the 4th Thursdays in September, November, January and May and the 2nd Thursday in March which include a set three course meal. Meeting start times are generally 16:30 and the following festive boards aim to conclude at 21:00.
